Here is a Christmas rat story: I was on vacation with my partner in India during Christmas 2000. I was walking along some trees and brushed what I thought was a VINE out of my eyes. Looking up, I saw this huge rat sitting on a tree branch looking down at me. The base of the tail was approximately the same diameter as a *quarter*. I almost screamed/panicked/cried but my boyfriend just kept pulling me along saying, "Don't look. Don't look at it."
