I am a dumbass. →[More:]So I got done with my last final hella (yes, HELLA) early this morning (took me an hour, when the final period is three...it was really easy), get all packed, go out to my car....and my battery is dead. I'd left it sitting under a shitton of ice for about a week. 'Cause I'm an idiot.

So now I'm sitting on my ass and I'm all antsy and just want to GO HOME DAMNIT.

Bah.

That sucks! I got home yesterday after I finished finals exactly last week.

But my car has been sitting under a shitton of ice this entire time because apparently my family didn't think it practical to get the snow off a car I would be using in less than 7 days.

Here's hoping my battery is fine.

Phew. Made it home!

mischief: batteries don't do so well with the cold sometimes. I think having two inches of ice on my hood was probably making things worse.

I know about batteries not doing well in cold -- I grew up near Buffalo -- but I never would have guessed about battery problems where it was warm enough for snow to melt and turn to ice.
