so cute you may have to do something truly vile to keep the balance.
*ghasp*

Look at those little ears!

*sputter, gasp, collapse from teh cute!*

Science Girl's mom (I guess that'd make her Science Mom, huh?) has a munchkin. She's very cute, and very much the alpha cat in her house.

A cat that stays a kitten?
i have crazy kitten fever now.
If i found a kitty today i'd keep it.
posted by ethylene 13 November | 19:30
Well, she grew up. She just didn't get any taller, that's all. It's very odd to see her creeping around the house, but she's very happy.

...but, but it says...
They retain their kitten personalities throughout their lives. Munchkins can be a welcome delight in any home.

Oh. Well, I'm only going by what Gidget is like. She certainly is a delight, I can tell you that much.

It's worth waiting until the end, or at least skipping to it. That is apparently what a pounce looks like when you're that stubby.

aw!

She says, "behbeh lulluby music is a bit MOISSHE..."

What is MOISSHE?
posted by taz 14 November | 02:27
MOISSHE = much in the occasionally over-the-top lingo of Cute Overload. I'm still trying to figure out how "nyherle" is pronounced.
posted by bmarkey 14 November | 02:33
and... what's "nyherle" then?

Cute Overlord lingo is harrogatha, I tell you. Harrogatha!
posted by taz 14 November | 02:45
My bad - it's actually "nyerhe", and apparently it's the sound that cats make when they don't want something... aside from those cats who just come right out and say "DO NOT WANT", of course. It's all so confusing.

*heads off to look up "harrogatha".
posted by bmarkey 14 November | 03:16
it's its

I always screw that one up.
posted by bmarkey 14 November | 03:20
Good luck with harrogatha bmarkey. I spent a good ten minutes last night repeating it over and over to myself in a mock liverpudlian accent.

Also, *punches old lady in face*
(that's my unspeakably vile act for balance)

actually, your first "it's" was right.

*bleeds all over everything*
*searches in vain for his Strunk & White*
posted by bmarkey 14 November | 04:20
"Strunk & White"?

I thought it was "Strike & Bite"! Oh noes!

*tosses bmarkey in back of car and rolls him out at emergency entrance of nearest hospital; peels out so no one gets my plate #*
posted by taz 14 November | 04:32
*notes bmarkey writing plate # in blood on emergency dept driveway*
*drives steamroller over bmarkey, leaving cartoon-style, bloody silhouette on ground*
posted by dg 14 November | 05:13
Glad you got my back, dg. The trouble Strunk & White can instigate! One boggles.
posted by taz 14 November | 05:30
b, if you want to look up "harrogatha", the place to look it up is metafilter.com.

*wakes up in a bathtub full of ice, with a five drachma note up one nostril, a third edition Strunk & White (paperback, thankfully) up the other, and some hastily-placed sutures over the spot where his right kidney used to be*
