Thanks, crush--I feel the same way about several of the other broadcasters. Would it help if I tried to broadcast at a different time, or on a regular schedule, or if I announced things further in advance?

I don't have an answer to that! Advance notice might be nice.

box - as an option, you could always 'cast once and put up the set lists so people know what they've missed and then rebroadcast the show at a later time as per the Rules:
If the set was under an hour, you can rebroadcast it no more than 3 times during a 2-week period.
If the set was over an hour, you can rebroadcast it no more than 4 times during a 2-week period.
I'm thinking that that's what I'm going to start doing with shows that people missed but wanted to hear.
