Started e-mailing out my resumes yesterday, in the middle of the afternoon. One agency, people I last worked with two years ago, called me about twenty minutes after I contacted them.

They initially did not offer me the assignment because my Access skillz were weak.

That all changed at 9:06 this morning, when that very same agency woke me up with a telephone call, asked me how long it would take for me to get to midtown, and offered me a rate a dollar an hour above what I was making at my previous assignment.

It's been very enjoyable day. My coworkers are decent, mellow folks. And it's always nice to be able to scare up work in less than 24 hours. My ego likes that kind of stuff.
