After yesterday's preliminary thread, it seems as if Labor Day weekend would allow the largest participation, but we all know Labor Day + beach + travel = SUCK. So, thanks to chewatadistance, I've created a poll on Doodle. Please visit the poll, enter your username, and check the box for each weekend you can attend. (The boxes are labeled with the Friday of each weekend I am available for hosting.) We'll run the poll for a while, I'll bump it if necessary, and then the data can make the decision of who to leave out, so I don't have to.

I added a few October dates. Check them if you can make them, and we'll do it if the difference in potential attendance is significant, but I'd really like to keep to the summer months so we can play in the ocean.

A quick recap:

• I have a 3 BR apartment, and any number of people can stay with me. (I have an air mattress and my daughter's twin bed, but anyone beyond the first 3-4 people will be sleeping on the floor.) You should not expect to have any privacy, though. If you want privacy, and to be near the beach (I'm about 20 minutes away from the oceanfront), book a hotel.
• Hotel rates go down after Labor Day.
• If you can make Labor Day but really don't want to, it's probably best to leave that box (8/31) unchecked, and leave a note in this thread that you could make it if necessary. If the poll tells me that the most people can come on Labor Day, I'm gonna make it that weekend (especially with the free day off on Monday), so keep that in mind. It's easy for me; I don't have to travel! I am prioritizing attendance over travel headaches - please tell me if I should alter my priorities.
