Radio Dodgy I've got a playlist and I'm going to use it. Starting now....
Meh, I can't get it to play your fuzzy warbles.

I like this Curved Air.

Yeah, I love that track. Not bad for some prog rockers.

I tried a few ways to get it to work on my work desktop (I have new headphones and I want to try them out). Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to listen.

Prog rock? Got any Magma?

Dang! Don't you know you're supposed to email me first?

Don't. Stop.
posted by taz 22 June | 10:56
Eeep! Sorry taz, please don't hurt me!

Sorry Huge, no Magma here.

The solos in Jack White's new joint sound like ass. Nice riff, though.

That's okay, I can't listen anyway. Might I suggest a listen to "Udu Wudu" or "Attahk" someday? It's really weird, but it makes me kind of spastic so I like it. Plus it's mannered French excess of the highest order. It's what CoS would listen to if they were for real. If you haven't heard it before, try it. You'll never be the same.

Thanks Hugh, I'll have to have a sniff around.

I think the White Stripes had got a bit formulaic so when I heard Icky Thump I had a bit of a WTF? moment. It sounds wrong in so many ways and yet it just works.

So far....

Echo & The Bunnymen - The Cutter
Charlotte Hatherley - Behave
Procol Harum - Wreck Of The Hesperus
The White Stripes - Icky Thump
The Sonics - Money
Elvis Costello & The Attractions - Two Little Hitlers
Clarence ' Frogman' Henry - Ain't Got No Home

So far...

Jacques Brel - La Biere (Beer)
Jose Gonzalez - Heartbeats
Battles - Ddiamondd
Lloyd Cole and the Commotions - So You'd Like to Save the World
Dogs Die In Hot Cars - Paul Newman's Eyes
The New Pornographers - The Jessica Numbers
The National - Mistaken For Strangers

So great.

Thanks taz!

And finally...

Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - Thou Shalt Always Kill
The Bonzo Dog Band - Alley Oop
Justice - D.A.N.C.E.
Longpigs - She Said

Thanks for everyone who was listening, I hope you all enjoyed it.

You're welcome. But you weren't supposed to stop. I'm going to keep this in mind when bonus time comes around.

So, which is the UK's second city, anyhow? Birmingham or Manchester? || Atheist Filter: I believe the vernacular is acceptable?
