Hyper Hyper Hyper It's a Tigger day. All I want to do is jump! [More:]which is making it very hard to work on spreadsheets.
I'm not hyper, but I'm wildly enthusiastic about a new perfume I'm wearing and can't stop whuffling myself.

It's pikake (Hawaiian jasmine) and sandalwood. I usually don't go for sweet, but this smell is seriously rocking my world!

I'm a little pikaked out but I USED to love it. They started using it downstairs as an airfreshener in a super pungent format, which will just about ruin anything. I'd love to smell it mixed with sandalwood though- it sounds like it'd balance out the sweetness really nicely.

s_r, maybe try their fig & sandalwood mix, or maybe the Nerola (although I thought it orange. Yum!

Whoops, got some extra words in there. Just Nerola Orange.

ooo I've seen those down the street. I'll check them out when I go to lunch, if they're still there.

I've always wanted to find a nice perfume, but so far there hasn't been one I haven't gotten sick of smelling after an hour. I need one that smells like I just finished climbing a tree or something. Something really natural.

On Haight street they sell Thyme essential oil and it's surprizingly nice. But I didn't buy it.

Thanks, Specklet! If you have any other ideas, please send them!

s_r, thyme essential oil sounds wonderful! I rarely use actual perfume, but mix'n'match oils instead (rose, sandalwood, fig, lemon). If you like woody and spicy and incensey, try Indian heena (not henna) oil.

Thanks, wendell!

And thanks, Specklet. I'll look for heena and give it a sniff.

Hmm. It's kind of hard to find. This is what I have, but I'm worried it might be too sweet for you. If you email me your address, I'll send you a little dab on something...

Wow, Wendell, it's good thing I don't have any gif editing software, or I probably would have made something disturbing with that second one.
