mudpuppie I planted your chives! And your arugula!
But if I ever had your email address I lost it! I planted them under a little rose bush and a French lavender plant that was already there! Chives drive away aphids! But they are alliums so I kept them far from my beans!

I also put petunias with my tomatoes and marigolds near my peppers! I am betting on global warming to ripen my garden!

This, apparently, is an exclamatory thread!

Occhiblu told you to tell me that, didn't she! Because I asked her today whether you ever got them! It's okay! I'm glad they got there!

I just thinned my arugula. It's hard to imagine that sprouts so small have such a big taste. And the red giant mustard? Holy shit! One sprout will give you heartburn! But they are so deliciously spicy!

I can't believe you guys are planting already! We still have a month to go! And that's for spinach! LOL!!!

I'm super thrilled with my mom's yard and the stuff that is coming up this year. I planted a bunch of dahlia tubers super late last year and so they never bloomed. But they are starting to come up this year. YAY. Also, all the roses I planted for her also lived through the winter (which, to be fair, was mild) - there's something coming up where I planted delphiniums, globe thistle and lavender last year but I have NO idea if it's any of that stuff or if it's something else (from previous owner). The clematis also survived the winter. A couple of peony trees I planted late in the season also have new growth! Yay. Every time I'm over at my mom's she has a new Jackson & Perkins catalog or email to show me. For some reason she always wants to know what I like and think she should plant - even though I don't live there. (This may be related to the fact that I'm the one that does all her planting and weeding.)

Now whenever I read posts that have a lot of exclamation points, it comes out in Olena's voice! OK!

Hee. Actually I came home, and ikkyu said, "I just planted mudpuppie's arugula! Come look!" And I said, "That's funny, because she just emailed me today to see if the seeds got here."

Weirdly, I had many dreams last night in which this sort of synchronicity was a major point. I'm tired of weird dreams.

Now whenever I read posts that have a lot of exclamation points, it comes out in Olena's voice! OK!

Me too! OK!

Also, "I just planted mudpuppie's arugula" is a bizarre, bizarre sentence.

I'm just waiting for my scarlet runner bean and italian frying pepper seeds to arrive, then I can have done with planting.

It's been unusually warm and sunny here; if we had another 20 weeks like the last two, I'd grow the biggest tomatoes SF has ever seen.

Heh. I was going to offer you some scarlet runner seeds from last year's crop. Just pulled the pods off the chicken coop last week. But now I'm going to keep them all to myself. All mine!
