Tree photo project. Everyone grab your camera and go take photos of the most beautiful or most interesting tree you know of in your area. Meet back here and post them next Thursday. Multiple trees allowed.
(Inspired by this post.)
Or would this be a good photo Friday for next week?

I say make it Photo Friday for next week. It's a perfect springtime PF.

Grrr...It's not springtime EVERYWHERE people. My fantastic split leaf maple is still in complete winter mode!

Winter trees are beautiful! So are fall trees. All trees...I love them.

So we should have four tree-themed Photo Fridays a year?

Like a solstice/equinox thing? Heh! I think that's an awesome idea.

Ok, how about broadening the proposed Photo Friday topic: Grab your camera and take a photo of something nature-related in your area.

But what are the people in NYC going to do?

dammit, I wish I had seen this before I took off for the country this morning (I'm now back in H-town). The dogwoods and redbud trees are in full bloom up there and look gawjus. Sigh.

Ooooh goodie! I know which one I'm gonna do!

Hey! A tree (or two) grows in Brooklyn, you know!

But what are the people in NYC going to do?

They'll likely go to one of the many parks that dot the 5 boroughs, including Central Park which has over four million trees, shrubs and plants.

Your busting my illusions ericb of NYC being a barren expanse of concrete, buildings and ashphalt where the only vegetation is the weeds ecking out an existence between the cracks in the side walk.
