Barely Remembered Early 90s Song Okay, mechadetectives, I present a puzzle that has bothered me for years. →[More:] In the early 90s in Baltimore I became obsessed with a song that was occasionally played on WRNR, which was then a great alternative station. The song had the line it "She comes from the rain and the rain makes green" and IIRC was mostly about rain and greenness. One time that it was played I heard the DJ say something about the Weather People or the Weather Men or something like that and once in a record store I found an album by the Weather People but it didn't have anything about rain on it, so I didn't buy it. The song was sort of lovely vaguely folk-y but maybe more like early REM than anything else. Every few years I google for a while and turn up nothing. Therefore I now give this puzzle to you.
