Radio Mecha Redux (Sunday Edition). [More:] This is a rebroadcast of the program from last Thursday evening Eastern Standard Time - but this time, 2 hours of jazz, while our friends in the EU are awake, for a change. We did the program notes already in the original thread for this program, so go there if you're curious about what's playing, and let's keep this one for today's kibbitz, if any. Since this is a rebroadcast, I think we're OK to post the program playlist up front, so here's what you'll hear:

1. McCoy Tyner - The Greeting (2:27)
2. Art Tatum - Poor Butterfly (3:33)
3. Django Reinhardt - Crazy Rhythm (3:03)
4. J. Mercer, D. Raskin - Laura (3:34)
5. Fred Astaire - Isn't This a Lovely Day? (4:30)
6. Deborah Franciose & Moonfire - Five'll Getcha (5:16)
7. Pat Metheny, Dave Holland, Roy Haynes - All the Things You Are (8:26)
8. Miles Davis - Straight, No Chaser (10:57)
9. Duke Ellington & His Orchestra - Uwis (7:49)
10. McCoy Tyner - Salvadore de Samba (12:13)
11. Kenny Burrell & John Coltrane - Freight Trane (7:21)
12. Thelonious Monk - Well, You Needn't (11:24)
13. Toots Thielemans - I Do it for Your Love (3:30)
14. Oscar Peterson - The Work Song (7:33)
15. Adair, Beegie - You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To (4:27)
16. Gary Burton - Elucidation (5:20)
17. Tommy Flanagan - Groovin' High (6:16)
18. Ben Webster - In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning (3:12)
19. Diana Krall - Peel Me a Grape (5:52)
20. Bill Evans Trio - I Will Say Goodbye (3:30)

I'm drinkin' Kenyan estate coffee this morning, and it's pretty, partly cloudy day here on the farthest West point of the East coast of Florida. 68° F, going up to 78° F later today, good golf weather, with a 30% chance of rain later this evening. What's your inner and outer weather like today?
I'm sorting out my recycling with the music in the background, and a big mug of sparkling water which I hope will sooth my razor blade throat.

The weather's changeable - ten minutes ago it was pouring, now the sun's out but there's plenty of cloud in the sky.

A request for your next show. Some Joe Pass.

Next couple of programs are in the can already, but we'll get Mr. Pass in the stream in the near future, essexjan.

Outer weather, the same as yours paulsc.

Inner weather, a mixture of melencholy and optimism. My mother just called. She insists I drive over for a visit. It's a good thing I suppose. If given a choice, I'd rather sit here all day.

Do drive over and visit your mother, while you can, LoriFLA. I wish I could still visit mine.

I am enjoying this music very much. I'm feeling pretty crook today, I already went back to bed once and then got up again. I might need to go back to bed again soon. This is not like me. I have picked up a bug somewhere. But the music is lovely, just lovely.

Sick = no fun, essexjan. Feel better soon, and get your nap, if that will help.

So, some 56,500,000+ bytes down the wire from where we started this set, we're done. Dunno, yet, 'bout next Sunday, as I may be traveling in this time slot. But if not then, then again, in later weeks.
