Awake? Like Screensavers (and/or Nautilus steampunk thingy)? You can get a $15 Nautilus 3D screensaver for free here... but only for the next three hours. You need to activate it and install it before the offer time runs out. (You can't download the zip and activate later) [note: this now over]

I saw this link on a blog posted in our steampunk thread. Though I don't normally rock the screensavers, we have a soft spot for steampunk/nautilus/Myst-y type graphics, so I snagged this for our computers.

Oh, neat! Thanks, taz. I don't normally use screensavers, either, but I ran these folks' "Lost Watch" screensaver for many months, just because it's so pretty.

heh. I keep waiting for a giant squid to jump out and scare me... like those "can you see X in this photo?" things - where you get the horrible screaming face after about 30 or 40 seconds, and jump five feet even though you were pretty sure it was coming all along. :)

I'm a sucker for these limited time offers. Even stuff I have no interest in, like screensavers.

:) MUST GET NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE... aaaaaargh!!!!!

I like it. I wish it was a continuous pan instead of going to black between transitions, but if it was it would be a hell of a lot bigger than 8MB.

ah, that's nice. thanks taz.

I like this, but it needs more James Mason.

I try to check out that Giveaway of the Day site every day; I've gotten a few useful utility programs (and several bad ones) and they've had a bunch of Audio File Organizers which I am comparing right now to see if any of them will organize me the way I want to be organized.

When I saw the word 'screensaver' on this one, I just tuned it out, but it turned out to be quite impressive... one thing, I notice the Nautilus never steers around anything in the scenery, and it fades out into the next scene an instant before it's going to hit something. :)

I'll post here if the Giveaway site offers anything else with a high coolness factor...
