Update on Joe Famous My supervisor just got off the phone with his sister:→[More:]

*He's in ICU right now, and has been cracking jokes. However, he's also been fading in and out of consciousness. (I suspect this might be due to the pain meds he's on.)
*He can have visitors in the ICU.
*I'm not sure yet if his family want his friends to visit.
*Unrelated: I'm going home with a headache right now, but will continue to ask my supervisor for more updates.

(I've tried leaving a message on his cell, but he's either let his plan lapse or he's outside the calling area. He had left a message on mine a few days ago and I hadn't gotten back to him. I feel terrible about that now)
