Very brief update: Because this is the subject of an ongoing investigation, his family is choosing not releasing any more details at this time. (In fact, I may have jumped the gun by posting as much as I did here, but honestly, the more "good vibes" that are being sent the better, I think.) I can report, however, that he was conscious after the accident and that his family is with him.

if i could be reincarnated as a superhero it'd be a totally awesome big domme amazon type cyclista with a fixed gear that transforms into a supersonic jet, a gatling gun brassiere and death ray eyes. i'd target hit and run drivers for the good of all mankind. those fuckers totalled one of my alltime favourite roadbikes years ago back when I was too young and broke to replace it. death to hit and run drivers, i say!!!
