coupla good tunes on there. the Pixies, Big Country, Elvis Costello are great and that INXS song is my favorite by them and the Go-Go's are always nice to hear, but you lost me with Human League, Duran Duran and [*shudder*] A-Ha.

Just over an hour left to go.

That Naked Eyes track is not bad. But it's a cover of an old soul song. You can't really go wrong with good source material. Just like a lot of those Human League songs have good melodies but would sond better to me if they substituted guitar for those overbright synths and if the vocalists put a little gravel in their voices.

I agree with your Human League idea... the first song I played was off of "Reproduction", which was released in 1979, is influenced by that wave happening at the time. Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Heaven 17, Gary Numan.. all the clean, yet experimental sounds. The later Human League never really grabbed me, though I like the lyrics to 'Mirror Man'.
