I just had a heart attack TurboTax told me I owed over $4,000 in New York State tax. WTH!?!??! Turns out, I forget to enter the taxes I already paid in the income section. I was 2 seconds from curling up in a ball on the floor and sobbing.

I did that this year also . . .thought that I owed like 1700 because I had not filled out the exemption box yet. I WILL pay a few hundred due to my wife having such a small paycheck that they deduct NO federal tax out of it but added to my income, it gooses it up enough to hurt.
