Yay! Boo! Yay! The Metafilter CD finally landed on my UK doormat this morning, and it's really good. Boo! I'm at work today.

Boo! I small group of colleagues that includes me who go out for drinks and/or a meal and the odd gig 3 or 4 times a year are going out on NYE. Turns out someone didn't invite me. I'm not sure what to think about that. A word rhyming with "flankers" spring to mind.

Yay! The press office forgot to cancel the newspapers over the break, so there's about 30 to read whilst I'm waiting for 5pm to hit.
