"What are you going to do now?" →[More:]
Last night was my last night of vacation. I've been sharing my childhood room with my nephew, him in my old bed, me on an inflatable mattress on the floor. Every morning for the past week, I've awakened to him grinning at me from under his covers, waiting for me to get up.
On Christmas morning, he got a little impatient, and roused me by singing (at a whisper) "Oh, Susannah!" and "I've Been Working on the Railroad."
I open my eyes and smile at him, and try to drift back into slumberland. He starts tapping the side of his bed. Eventually, I pop my head up, which is his cue to sit up in bed and ask me (at normal volume), "So, what are you going to do now?"
So, what are you going to do now?
