So what's crackin' for New Years Eve? [More:]
Feed my curiousity.

Or is it too damn early to axxx about it?
We're gonna do some crack on New Years Eve?

CRACK IS WACK
I'd rather eat a plate of thumb tacks and wash it all down with a tall glass of sand.

This will end well.

Personally, I'm 99 and 94/100ths per cent sure I'm headed for Hotlanta (very slightly NSFW), and a rendezvous with a good ol' girl of 35+ years aquaintance. But if that doesn't work, I'll be meetin' her in Memphis, and we'll Bury our Blues on Beale Street on December 31.

I was just looking at DC happenings. We'd like to stick to the new H Street entertainment district, as it's so very close to home, but we haven't found much beyond DJ nights. Any DC MeChazens out there have any good ideas?

My band is playing a fancy pants New Years Eve show that another much bigger band is playing. We will be playing twice before and once after the bigger band.

Did you find my stash again, honey?

Maybe we'll take my 91-year-old ma dancin'...

My years get progressively worse, so I'm going to drink myself into a coma alone.

For the first time in a long time, I will actually be doing something.

Not sure what. But it will be in Orlando. Universal Studios was mentioned. Having never been to Orlando, someone can tell me if that will be totally lame and I should talk them into something else. And the next day I shall be at the Capital One Bowl. I need to find out what the weather will be like in Orlando. I hope it is warm. I like warm.

I'm just going to be grateful for a holiday where I don't have to buy presents or travel long distances to attend festive dinners.

Oh, and I love watching the Rose Parade.

As a kid I used to watch the Rose Parade and sip warm cinnamon milk with my Grandfather in Bed Stuy.

Ahhh..those were the days...

Going to the Opera, then probably out to dessert, and then observing the new year back at the house, possibly even with a pounce. . .

Call me easy to please, anymore, I guess.

Weretable, there's not much to do in Orlando that isn't lame, sadly. (Apologies to any Orlando-based bunnies.)

That being said, we took the kid to Universal Studios in Sept. and we had a lot of fun. Lots of big scary roller coasters that I couldn't ride and bars I couldn't drink at. Beware of the water rides. They will make you really, really totally soaking wet.

I think I'll get drunk with cmonkey.

I don't know. I've a mind to spend it playing video games with Ham again. We did that last year and it was refreshing to be away from the throng. I love new year, but I like to tell people how much I love them privately at a time I choose. I'm not sure how comfortable I am with that warm sickly scent of bon-homie that drifts across the world at 12.00am. It's like the Turkish Delight in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Feels perfect at the time but afterwards you get back to the bickering and it feels like you were drugged into something unsavoury.

I may end up staying indoors with my boyfriend and his new cat which I may or may not be allergic to.

Don’t like what one of your critics said about you? || I'm a-goin' to Seattle next month!
