The American Library Association Midwinter conference is there Jan. 18-24 and I am on a committee AND my new employer will pay for me to go! Yippee!!!

Whoooooooooo!!!

I always think of Maurice Sendak when I think of Seattle. I think of it as a very friendly city filled with spiky trees, happy monsters, and space needles.
