I only know about this because every mass market newspaper seems to have decided it's news. NYT, SF Chronicle, LA Times, and NPR have all run stories about the "lonelygirl mystery."

Because, you know, it's not like important stuff is going on in the world.

I hate it when people say happy new years at times other then Jan 1. or Merry christmas on days other then the 25th dec.
