When it rains, it pours →[More:]I just got an offer for a temp position. When I told the temp agency that I couldn't take it, they immediately offered me a different position for a longer amount of time. I then explained to them that I have a job now, one that I really really wanted. It would seem this makes me more attractive to them, as they asked me if the salary was suffient or if they should still look for permanent positions for me.

I got a call yesterday from a company who I had applied to, looking to set up an interview. I also had a voicemail from a company I had interviewed with back in the spring.

I am also going to start writing for a travel blog. WTF? Seriously, couldn't these things have been spaced apart?

It's amazing how, once the pressure's off, things keep coming my way. That, and the fact that if these other opportunites had come first, I wouldn't have gotten this job, the one that's in the industry I actually want to work in.

So - to all the bunnies who are unemployed, looking for work, thinking about quitting their job or are generally just bummed out about finding employment - keep on truckin'. Things will happen, just be patient.

Another weird thing is that I have been hired in the last week of July for my last job, which was my first "real" job, as well as a few jobs while I was still in school. It seems the stars align for me at the end of July.
