OMG! KITTIES! (flash 8 movie)-- My boss is kitty-sitting for the weekend, and these are her charges.
Normal? I don't know, but my kittie Wally didn't start meow-ing until he was a few years old, and even then it was a strange, barkish meow. Of course, he was really a dog trapped in a cat's body...
I know of two cats - siblings from the same litter - that live together and almost never make vocal noises. They delight in lots of other catlike behaviors, but meowing apparently doesn't become them.
It is probably normal for them not to meow/mew. I have two cats, one is very vocal, the other only speaks to me if she really, really wants something, even then the volume of her speech is fairly muted.
I like those cats in the video because they look like triplets.
