1) Yes. Out 40 hours, but there's still about 500,000 households about STL with no power. We had another nasty storm come in today, making a mess of the repairs. I got lucky, my power stayed up.

2) Work, featuring both IP and AC.

ahhh...all good now? I heard about St. Louis on CNN--we still have tons of people in Queens without power--it's like almost a week now too.

I've got power, though it's been blinking like crazy today, but the city as a whole is still pretty much a mess. There's still over 350,000 households without power. The recovery is going very slow -- they haven't gotten half the outages clear yet.

The heatwave broke, though, which is a mercy -- I didn't sleep a wink Thursday night, because of the heat. I had to go a fair distance out of my way to get groceries, both the stores I normally hit still don't have power.

It'll be at least a week before anything even gets close to normal here.
