Astonishing, wondrous, magical ...→[More:]I saw this tonight, at the Greenwich Festival. It was amazing. I took lots of pictures, which I'll upload over the weekend.
If this show ever visits your town, go and see it. It was fantastic.
I caught De La Guarda awhile back, and was saddened when they completed the NYC leg of their tour. The Feste looks more reminiscent of Cirque de Soleil, but in a more approachable, relaxed vein...
It was almost a hybrid of a Son et Lumiere and Cirque du Soleil. Beautiful music, very graceful and gentle, with lots of 'oohs' and 'ahhhs' from the crowd.
