While looking at recent photos of Samuel Delaney in the MeFi thread, I thoiught to myself that the old chap had listened to the first album one too many times.

The The Suburban Nightmare (who later became the Dwarves) had a 10-second cover of "Wayward Son", which was (literally) recorded in the shower.

I like this version better.

I'm having trouble understanding what this song has to do with Samuel R. Delany, though. Could you be more clear?
