Mr. Preston →[More:]One of my idols in the music world passed away yesterday and I just wanted to acknowledge just how much this dude's productions, compositions and arrangements (Beatles, Stones, himself...etc.) over the years have ment to me as an artist.

I saw him with the Stones in 71 or 72. . .memorable.

David Brenner used to have a late night show that taped here in the city for about half a season in the 90's and Billy Preston whas his musical director.

I was lucky enough to meet him and one of the tapings. I'll never forget it.
