Update on iconomy vs flickr: A happy ending! No, not that kind of happy ending.→[More:]

I finally got a reply from flickr, about my inability to log in, merge my accounts, etc etc, and about why they had to cancel my account. It so happens that I registered at that exact moment that they had some wonky stuff going on behind the scenes last week, and they couldn't get flickr to recognize my email account. So they sent me a letter of apology, and upgraded me to pro for 6 months for free. Sweet!

Free pro happy ending grabs?

I like 'iconomy vs flickr' better. I still have the iconomy account too. People added me as a contact as iconomy and then had to add me as a contact again as iconomy vs flickr. If I had gone back to iconomy everyone would have had to delete me as iconomy vs flickr and add me again as iconomy. I didn't think people liked me that much, so I thought I'd play it safe and not aggravate everyone.

Man. I wish you could have been around yesterday, iconomy, when Costco refused to honor my B of A debit card.... because B of A put a hold on it because my wife pulled up to the gas pump the wrong way at Albetson's and had to turn around and the transaction timed out and therefore she had two $100 authorizations in a couple of minutes last Thursday, so B of A just HAD to cut off my card on Sunday with no attempt to contact me.

They didn't give me any kind of 6 month pro membership. Hell, they didn't even apologize, and even denied that they were "customer service" people, because they were in Card Security and Customer Service is a whole 'nother department.
