This is a staring thread →[More:]So, my productivity has decreased to an all-time low this week. I've put in about two days worth of staring time. Where I just stare at something, the wall, my computer, out the window, instead of doing anything productive and I have lots that needs doing. This is a thread for all the bunnies who are also having a slow week and need a place to just sit and stare.

Anyways, back to the wall...

I just realized that I am hung over. I thought I woke up with a sinus infection. I feel better now, headache receding, but very very low energy and productivity. *STARES*

(a blogger I knew from MeFi once got a search hit from the phrase "massage me breasts," which when said in a pirate voice becomes hysterically funny)

I tried to make a graph of my ability to concentrate vs time spent at higher learning institution but it just didn't look right on preview. Suffice to say it goes down. A lot. Drastically. Some people say sugar rots your brain but I disagree. I think school rots your brain.

I just got back from the hour-and-a-half lunchtime. It's a holiday on Monday, so about 50% of the people aren't here, and those that are (vis. me) are only about 50% here.

Hey, what's the Canadian holiday for, anyway? I found out about it this morning from my counterpart at Royal Bank of Canada, but she didn't know what it commemorated.

It's Victoria day, God save the Queen. But really it's First-Long-Weekend-Where-The-Weather's-Kinda-Nice-Let's-Open-The-Cottage day.

Speaking of our head of state, if you look in the CIA World Factbook entry for Canada in the Government section it says:

elections: none; the monarchy is hereditary; governor general appointed by the monarch on the advice of the prime minister for a five-year term;

which is techincally accurate but kinda funny.

realizes he needs to stare, and a lot, at his lines for the show. But staring out the window is nice. As is Hugh "Rhymin' Machine" Janus for his suggestion of finding a good diner and staring at people.

I may opt for that. With script as backup. Problem: where are the real diners in Seattle?
