Signed off →[More:]I saw the doc this morning and have been signed off for another month, so I'll be off work until 19 June.

Woo. Yay. (sort of)

Whilst I'm delighted to not be at work but still get paid, I can't do too much yet. I went up to London today to meet some friends who are over from Florida, we just had lunch and hardly walked at all (they're both in their 80s), but I am absolutely wrecked.

I hope we get some decent weather soon so I can lie in the garden and catch a bit of sun.

And yes, I know and appreciate how very lucky I am to have such a great job where there's no pressure to go back until I'm well.

It's great that you can take the time to recover and not have to worry about finances!

Don't worry about feeling low-energy; just let your body do it's thing. It's time to lay low, take care of yourself, do quiet, contemplative thing.

The worst thing is that my psoriasis has flared up big time because of the stresses of the past few months, so I've been given 3 different treatments to use - one per month for the next 3 months - and hopefully if we have some sun I'll be able to lie out in it a little (I also burn easily), which should help.

Actually, I can't get better than one meter resolution, so it would have to be a hell of a case.

Sounds like healing underway. Maybe the extra month will kick the psoriasis' ass too. Psoriasass?
