I grew up there, too, in Orange County. The northern part, not the part with all the Asians in it (Irvine, etc.).

I grew up in Orange County, too (Santa Ana & Orange). Moved to the Conejo* Valley in my early twenties (Thousand Oaks & Newbury Park).

I think dame grew up in OC as well.

*Means rabbit in Spanish. Metachat is my density!

My sister has lived in orange county her entire adult life. . .

seal beach, huntington, fountain valley, huntington again and now tustin.

we grew up in hermosa, up north.

I am old enough that, going to Disneyland, we drove to Long Beach then entered what seemed like this endless corridor of orange groves. . .which ended in the Disneyland parking lot.
