Did anyone else in the US do their taxes this very morning, all hungover and shitty?

Amazingly, when it was all over and I'd eaten my hot greasy breakfast, I got into the car to go to work, put on Radiohead, and began to feel positively euphoric.

Once again, I neglected to include a letter enumerating my complaints on the way my tax dollars get spent.

I'm in that unfortunate midpoint in life where I make too much to get a refund, but I don't yet own a house or have kids, so I have very little to deduct. Basically, I'm your average single, solvent Joe who pays through the ass to ~~keep the country on its feet~~ make war on Iraq.

Gee, and, legally speaking,because April 15th fell on a Firday, you only had until midnight on Sunday to post your return. You were early.

April 15th is Saturday, and you have until Tuesday the 18th to file your return.

Depends on where you live. For most of the country, taxes are due by the 17th.

I'm working on them now---i made the most i ever have last year (i was doing 2 jobs), so that's cool, but it's such a pain to do them.
