I'm so frustrated. The stupid loudcity page won't load.... Ah never mind. Finally.

Gladys Knight is EMPHATICALLY not to be fucked with.

I hate that page. It's always slow. Wolfdaddy, why do slowloading pages and time zones and skips always seem to come between us? Why does fate play these cruel tricks?

The Carpenters, however, make me ANGRY.

Taz, it's because you live in GREECE!

However, I tried pasting the URL for the Loudcity page into my player and it worked. Try http://www.loudcity.net/Portals/0/LCPlayLists/193/play.pls and see if that works.

Don't fuck with my Carpenters, grace!!!

I've got it now, wolfdaddy. I'm getting it on. Yes, I am. I'm getting it on with you, wolfdaddy.

You sure do like infesting people with earworms, don't you.

I need to do a radio set here one of these days, once I figger out how to broadcast! Old blues, gospel music, jazz, punk rock and ambient for the masses.

Oh, yes, please do! I can't stop myself now that I've gotten into it! It's fun!

hey taz, I just saved the play.pls file to my desktop and launch it from there. Saves having to do any extra clicking when I need some radio.

Sadly, the required ports are blocked here at work, so I can't take part in Radio W-OLF. Bummer.

1. Jim Croce - Time In A Bottle*
2. Vicki Lawrence - The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia
3. Cher - Half Breed
4. Billy Preston - Will It Go Round In Circles
5. Stories - Brother Louie
6. Gladys Knight & The Pips - Midnight Train To Georgia
7. The Carpenters - Top Of The World
8. Jim Croce - Bad Bad Leroy Brown
9. Eddie Kendricks - Keep On Truckin' (Part 1)
10. Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On
11. Elton John - Crocodile Rock
12. Carly Simon - You're So Vain
13. Paul Mccartney & Wings - My Love
14. Tony Orlando & Dawn - Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Ole Oak Tree**
15. Roberta Flack - Killing Me Softly With His Song***

*I miss Jim Croce as much as Karen Carpenter ~cries~

**I've noticed that this act is now more often referred to "Dawn featuring Tony Orlando" ... was there some lawsuit I missed out on??

***Dodgy! I played Roberta Flack two days in a row! Don't stalk and then kill me, PLEASE!

Next up, 1974, when we slowly start moving away from soul and R&B and into more novelty songs, soundtrack hits ... and disco isn't far off either. You have been warned!

Ooh, thanks richat.

Wolfdaddy, your not STOPPING? Why are you stopping? Stopping sucks.

Taz, I can only play about an hour's worth of music in the morning before I have to do real life things. You need to wake up earlier and/or go to sleep later (damn time zone/date line/other side of the world thing) :-)

At some point, I'm gonna put all these mixes up on my streamload account so's anyone who would like to can download them (well, up to 25 gigs a month, that is). So fret not.
