Can you all stand a little more Radio WolfDaddy? [More:]If you guys feel I'm monopolizing Radio MeCha, just spank me.

PLEASE spank me.

Otherwise, enjoy the sounds of 1974 this afternoon.

If Loudcity's page is slow, click here to listen.
Guess you couldn't stand anymore coz I WAS THE ONLY ONE LISTENING! Hmph. None of you deserve a playlist, but here it is anyways coz I can't stay mad at you for long.

1. The Spinners Featuring Dionne Warwick - Then Came You
2. The Steve Miller Band - The Joker
3. Elton John - Bennie And The Jets
4. Olivia Newton John - I Honestly Love You
5. George Mccrae - Rock Your Baby
6. Billy Swan - I Can Help
7. Mfsb & Three Degrees - Tsop (The Sound Of Philadelphia)
8. Grand Funk Railroad - The Locomotion
9. John Denver - Annie's Song
10. Bo Donaldson & The Heywoods - Billy Don't Be A Hero
11. Carl Douglas - Kung Fu Fighting
12. Paul Anka With Odia Coates - (You're) Having My Baby
13. Ray Stevens - The Streak*
14. Terry Jacks - Seasons In The Sun**
15. Barbra Streisand - The Way We Were

*Oh, yeah, we're still talking boy talk
**This one goes out to my man jonmc who says there's not a damn thing wrong with Terry Jacks.

Your sets are too short! My RSS reader only updates every four hours, so there's usually a fifty percent chance of me finding out about a 2hr set before it's over. With your 45 minute sets, that's down to 3/16 of a chance that I'll catch it. I check the radio page a lot randomly, too, but since your set was so short, I was in class the entire time you were broadcasting.

Just sayin'.

Okay fine! Starting with 1975, I'll do the top 40 songs of the year rather than the top 15. :-D

aw! i love most of those! we had 45s of 7 of them : >

i love love love this song!

...it's hard to die, when all the birds are singing in the sky... (how morbid!) : >

it was in 1973, not 74. And apparently there's multiple Billboard charts and the one I worked off for 73 didn't have it in the top 15. Sigh.

awww..that belongs with these

And as bad as having to listen to Annie's Song 5 times, listening to "The Way We Were" is worse.

I hope you know how much I sacrifice for you snugglebunnies :-D

it's so weird to think about: we all watched the same tv shows and listened to the same music when we were kids--that's so not true now-they have so many more choices...

/we're ancient!

thanks wolfie!

It's going to be really interesting when we get to the SoundScan era and compare it to the music I've been playing lately.

And that concludes the 2nd round of 1974 for ya Amber.

I'll be doing 1975 ... the top 40 of 75 ... sometime tomorrow morning. :-)

(not ancient ... WISE)

Let me see how long the mix is gonna be and I'll try to come up with a time. Let's see you're East Coast so an hour ahead o'me. Other dj's permitting, perhaps 9 PM your time??

I really don't want to monopolize the Radio MeCha thing.
