I have been offering beads to all the fine ladies I work with, but so far, no one has lifted their shirt. That's part of thw whole catholic thing right? Give them beads and they lift their shirts? That and eating pancakes?

I'll be all over the city later on tonight. For some reason Mardi Gras is HUGE in Buffalo. For $5 (which goes to Hospice) you get a wristband that will get you into more than 40 bars, who all have food, music, and insane drink specials. There's also a parade and a charity race. And a drunkshuttle to cart people from bar to bar.
Lots of people dress up, throw beads, the whole deal.

People do flash for beads here, and I am more impressed than anyone who flashes in new orleans... it's less than twenty degrees out today!

And it is an extra good day as my roommate just got a new job, too!
