Reminds me of my parents basement where they would hang it to dry. Verily, a forest of okra, twas at times.

I prefer eggplant.

Oh my god, that looks good. I love okra. I never thought of grilling it!

I bet grilled okra would be awesome dipped in horseradish sour cream.

If I move to Russia, then who will be left the fight the--apparently--surging tide of that jelly-like substance that exists within the okra? I have it on good authority that the jelly-like substance is really the pupate form of a brain slug, with the green, hairy outer casing of the "vegetable" being its protective shell.

The more you eat, the more likely it is that you will turn in to this. And if I were in Russia I would be unable to warn you in any effective way.

People here say the okra slime is anti-cancer.
(and Natto slime is a magic cure-all/youthful skin preserver)

Slimey food is very popular in Japan.
(like fresh chopped okra with soy sauce)

[and I would like a handful of skinks, but not from someone called "eat it live"]
