It's too broad a question guys. I mean I have several hundred catagories with lots of links like
Urban Exploration 70+
Photographers has a least 200+
Linux 200+
Weekly Newspapers 50+
PBX IVR 15+
Cigars 40+
Scotch 60+
Cats 20+
SSL 50+
VPN 50+
Detroit 70+
Pasadena 30+
Chicago 80+
etc.
Just too big a question.
I don't keep any links on my toolbar. I have one bar across the top - a very clean, teeny, minimal look. I drag everything off of the nav and bookmarks toolbars, and then I delete them. Then I drag the icons I want (new tab, reload, stop, forward, back, home, go, and the location field) onto the top bar where file, edit, view, etc is. Then I make the icons small. The bar takes up barely any room.
When I want to access my favorites I click on the bookmarks icon. I don't like giving up space to bookmarks.
Gmail; Google Reader; BBC News; flickr; MeCha; TfL Journey Planner; Thameslink Engineering work; BBC 6 Music; BBC Radio 1; LBC; Streetmap; Silent PC Review; Ars Technica; [H]ardOCP
Firefox ocassionally did (does?) this thing where it would randomly delete all the favicons. Which was annoying. Or was it IE? Can't remember. All I know is that I did that thing and that other thing happened.
