Mel Gibson, whose film The Passion of the Christ was attacked by Jewish leaders as anti-Semitic, is to make a film about the Holocaust.
...
Gibson's father said accounts of the Holocaust were mostly "fiction" and there were more Jews in Europe after the Second World War than before.

Carter-- I read that as "covering all his biases." Heh.

Ya know, I never liked that guy. Not even in his Sexiest Man Alive days. "Ooooh," people would say. "How can you NOT like Mel Gibson."

"There's just something about him I don't like," I'd say.

And now I know what that "something" is: he's both batshitinsane and a pompous ass.

heh.

on the other hand, maybe Mel will convert hisself some un-believers, they'll admit they're sorry for killing Jim Caviezel and they will be saved.

this ungrateful gentleman, instead, stubbornly thinks that

"We want them to leave us alone," said Rabbi Yehiel Poupko of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago.
