When ripping mp3s how do you handle hidden tracks?[More:]
Myself, I rip the track to a wav and then use a sound editor to crop it down to two separate files. I then name them track 12a. and 12b., convert them to mp3, and put them in the album directory with the rest of the tracks. Then I keep the original full length mp3 of both in a separate directory, just in case.

How about you?
I don't do anything special to them. I like when I'm listening to an album and it ends but because I'm so spacey, I don't notice that there's no music playing and then, like 10 minutes later, music randomly starts playing. I usually say something like "Whoa" or "Holy shit," so it's definitely worth it. I don't get many opportunities to say things like that.

I generally discard'em unless they're really special. I can't think of any I've kept in the last several years.

I'm too lazy to do anything about them, but if I had a servant dedicated to organizing my music files, I'd have him or her do it the way you do, Eideteker.

I leave 'em, which means when I want to burn the song to a mix CD, I have to cut off the secret track, which is annoying. But then sometimes, I get lucky, and it's the PERFECT LAST TRACK, so I can leave it on. Yeah piggy-backing.

I'm too lazy. And because I have a needlessly complex workflow to preview, tag, and reinstall tracks in iTunes, that's saying a lot.

The one I like is "The Great Arcade Fire", by that band, which ends their 2001 demo. Silence -- then a really loud Microsoft Sound. Jumps me out of my skin, it does.
