Not recently, but in mechanic class in highschool, my mech partner pissed off the teacher so the teacher smooshed his hand into the sparkplug - of a running lawnmower engine. That was quite a shock.

Used to shock myself a surprising number of times at surprisingly high voltages and amps in electronics class (also highschool).

I was putting the plastic on my front windows last night.
And if it wasn't for my roommate wandering in and stopping me, I would have sealed up my scissors in them.

shocked, i think. almost put 220v through myself the other day. circuit breaker tripped and beautiful sparks came out of it when i re-armed it. turned off all lights (it was a lighting ring) and re-armed it with a long stick.

I dropped my ipod in a bucket of paint a few weeks ago. After stunned dumbness, I finally reached in and got it out. Wiped it off with dry rags and agonized over my poor now green ipod. Eventually I got most of the paint off but it still had greenish streaks. Then I cussed at my lack of awareness. The earphone jack was full of paint so I pushed it out by inserting the plug end of my ear buds. Then I noticed it was still on. And I could hear Van Halen's Unchained! It still works and I use it almost every day. As a side note, I'm not worried now of scratching it. Also, those ipod iskins helped from filling in the docking plug. I give those things AAA++!
Oh, I paint houses for a living, that's why I get things covered with paint. You should see my cellphone...

i gave myself 400V at about 200Hz the other day in the lab. Hand spasmed pretty hard on the stupid adapter that was hot. Hurt like hell. I've done higher voltage but not with that kind of current, and as we all remember for Ohmic resistors like humans, power dissipated goes as IxV.
