metawishlist Why is everyone so &^#*ing 'meta' these days? Since when is Meta the new cool? And what's with the blue on this page? Seems .... familiar ... somehow.

I've been cooped up at home, sick, for four days. Yes, I'm ranting.

Hey, are you the person who was involved in Maine Won't Discriminate? If so, I took some pictures of the Interfaith Rally. So if you missed it with the plague, here are two, anyway.

If I've got the wrong person, sorry. Also: the design of that wishlist site seems awfully familiar. Although it's actually a good idea.

yeah, selfnoise, that's me. I'm glad you were there. I wish I'd been able to make it. Looks like a pretty good attendance, as these things go in Portland.

Now lets just hope that we can get everyone to VOTE on Tuesday, and all will be well.

Yeah. I voted at City Hall on Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed that 2005 is the year.

I for one still don't realllly understand the prefix 'meta'. But you're right that it's overkilled.
