So, like where mah peeps at? [More:] I'm back home and in relatively good shape. I've got a dresssing the size of a diaper on my back, my pee looks like cherry kool aid, but I made it. I didn't get to see the actual stones since the treatment pulverized them, but pips got to see a test tube full of the gravel, which is sent out for analysis. Along with ciagrettes, I missed you guys the most.
dude, i feel really bad that they had to surgically remove your penis but i'm sure that it will make you stronger in christ.

jon!!! I'm glad you're back home. It's too bad you couldn't get to see (and keep) the little bastards but I'm just glad to hear they're outta ya. Take it easy, man and take care of yourself as you heal.

WB, bud. Glad to hear it went well!

Only you would post from a hospital bed and then from home the next damn day. ;-) How cool is that? So glad you're feeling better and back in front of a computer, we missed ya!

jon, welcome back! I saw the flickr photos of you in the hospital - you looked pretty darn cute, to tell the truth. Did you see this thread?

Oh and I can't believe you were doing shoutouts from your hospital bed....hee. I laughed out loud when I saw that.

Excellent news, just excellent. I'm glad you made it through.

Remember what Nietzsche said:"Beware of looking too long into the abyss, for the abyss also looks into you."

What I actually meant was:"What does not kill me make me stronger."

Glad you're back!

pips is at the drugstore picking up my vicodin and antibiotics, so it should be a dreamy night. I have some pain, but it's not too bad, and I at least know that it's gonna end.

All you people, drink lotsa water (this is a hard adjustment for me, since I like flavor, but I'm getting used to it, and get regular physicals.

On preview:Yeah, I saw the thread and the pics, thaks to hugh, lilboo and everyone else. Ico, you didn't see the bloodsoaked dressing on my back, plus I was wearing a backless gown so the hospital got to see assmc.

Welcome back, sir. I thought of you today. My kid got a red balloon at a b-day party and named it "Mr. Kidney Stone." I swear to god!

(When she was potty training, she used to try to hold it in as long as possible. I told her that would give her kidney stones. She's been terrified of pissing rocks ever since.)

also, matteo, you might get a kick out of this.

Glad you made it. If anyone told you to take it easy for a few days, take their advice ;)

Glad to have you back! And glad the hospital food didn't kill you. I assume it was healthy ;-)

Alright, assmc! I'm glad to see you're a few stones lighter and you're already recovering with that characteristic style and mc charm. Keep up the good work.

I made a special trip onto the weekend internet just to cheer your return. Good man yourself, Macanudo, I'm glad it worked out. Beers before the doctor says it's a good idea and save me a vicodin, we'll see what kinds of gum are stuck to the bottom of the table.

those pulverized stones one day will be worth millions, giovanni, and end up in the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame.

un abbraccio, amico mio. grazie. and get well soon.

I hereby yield the seat of honor of Lowest Member Number Active MeFite back to ol' 58... Ironically, I wasn't much more active the last two days than you were, jon. BTW, about the seat of honor... does assmc require a donut cushion or can I take it with me?

Glad you kept it warm for me, wendell, old bean. matteo, my Eye-talian is rusty, are any of those mp3's covers of Anglo/American hits?

jon - awesome to hear you're back in action. I'm late to the thread because I have NZers visiting this weekend and have been away from MeCha. Nonetheless, feel better please, and I demand to be party to the first drinking session back at Antarctica, yo.

(taz just made me snorfle hot tea. Hee!)

yay! So glad the Hot Buttered Flannel Man is on the mend! I went to see the Killer Kane documentary "New York Doll" in your honor last night, then put some Ramones on the jukebox and raised a beer in your honor. Enjoy all that vicodin and water. (and a word to the wise: vicodin -- like any of our friends from the opiate family! -- can constipate somethin' fierce, so... you have been warned.)

vicodin -- like any of our friends from the opiate family!

They prescribed colace (and some kind of antibiotic superpill) as well. I'm like a little old lady with all my pill bottles. Now turn on Matlock and make me some tea!
