I think my brain is loose.
You ever get that hooha figured out about the hemhaw?

My brain is just tired. It needs to be tucked in with a snuggly teddy bear for a few hours.

actually, I'm gonna leave work now, and head home for a nap

I feel all tingly, but not in a good way. Maybe I'm getting sick. I want to take a nap too.

mudpuppie, remain calm. It's probably under the couch or behind the fridge. They like cool dark places. Don't make any loud noises and for god's sake don't approach it. They're apt to bite when they feel cornered. Call animal control and try to not to drool too much.

Tripe is stomach. Sweetbreads is brains.

mupduppie, it is likely that your brain is loose. This, however, is not cause for alarm, but rather a happy day.

Loose brains is good brains.

Sweetbreads isn't brains. Sweetbreads is hypothalamus.

I know my organ meats.

Brains with gravy.

Hypothalamus in a citrus sauce.

Pickled turkey gizzards.

Man, those kids are gonna love coming by my house tonight!!

So the section of your brain responsible for organ meats is still responding? That's a good sign.

When this happens to me, I get the broom and fish it out from whatever it ended up under. It doesn't seem any worse for wear.

I saw Critical Mass go down the street last weekend, dressed in their costumes. Ghosts and witches, and cyclist zombies, pedaling erratically and bringing up the rear.

As they hove out of sight, I imagined I heard them howling: CHAINS! CHA-A-A-AINS!

Someday I am going to have a bunch of neurologists for dinner and serve each of them a small calf's brain in aspic, with a sharp neurotome as their only utensil.
