Spooky music to download for tonight? What are some good songs I can burn to a CD to play to scare kiddies with?

I'm downloading John Carpenter's Halloween right now. I'm looking for creepy, intimidating instrumentals, non-cheesy sound effects...stuff like that.

If you don't actually want to scare them and just have bug out fun, may I suggest werewolves of london by warren zevon and the perennial favorite, ghostbusters theme?

(bustin' makes me feel good!)

Oh, hmm, then maybe also the Jaws soundtrack, or just that jaws, bum bum bum bum, beeeee thing. You know.

David Byrne's "The Forset" isn't scary, but it's definitely a bit creepy and ominous. Here are two --oops, three -- songs from it.

Also, the Tom Waits that you dug yesterday: What's He Building?

Of course, "The Forset" is really supposed to be "The Forest," but "Forset" is creepier. You know, like 'foreskin.'
