This needs to be done or we in breach of our licensing. Thanks
Right... IRC and broadcasting will make FIRE spray out of my computer. ;)
So far now the posting and b'cast isn't a problem since I put only MP3s in the playlist... I'll have to re-rip some stuff for the "official" debut, but that's workable.
stupid kids and their stupid games.
dodgy, i'll just email you and set up a separate room or whatever messenging thingie you use.
i'm too tired to remember my irc protocls right now anyway.
remember to carry grains of salt
as some are not as seasoned as others.
Since I don't keep most of my "computer music" in MP3 format, I feel like I'm making dinner out of Cheez-Whiz and cole slaw for unexpected guests... :) It's a blast, though.
At least now I know that it works (THANKS so much dodgy!!) and how to plan for future, less potluck broadcasts.
And DAMN I am impressed at how neatly the song titles show up on the Radio MeCha page... my file tags are a mess, and yet they're al showing up so neat and tidy. I love that.
No, I'm the other one :) Was just thinking about "Radar Love" a couple of weeks ago on a road trip. This is probably the first time I've heard it in ten years.
Having been around for the first incarnation of Gang of Four, it's really kinda strange to see them become... popular. Not bad, just odd. It's always nice to hear them, anyway.
Man, their live show a few weekends ago just destroyed me... I've been a fan since I heard "Anthrax" in 1984 or so, and yet I had NO IDEA how pummeling they were/are in concert... the two opening acts were young enough to be their children, and they made them look LAZY and TIRED in comparison. :D
I f**king LOST my "AGP" CD!! I've been looking for it for a few weeks now... do you still have those songs handy and could I persuade you to burn me a replacement copy? :)
P.S. Fischerspooner rocks, esp. the new album (that that was from)
Thank you, thank you. I finally got around to wanting to load your comp. into my MP3 player, and was like... isn't the disk right there on that pile? Or, uh, on top of the monitor? Or... AAAAAH!
