You know how when you're mad, you can say things you shouldn't which you regret later? That's what this was, and apparently I'm the guy who needs a ten-minute waiting period before posting, occasionally, to avoid being so stupid.

I acted very foolishly and in haste. I was wrong to be a jerk to Jessamyn about the wiki thing, and I owe her an apology. I'm sorry, Jessamyn.

I especially appreciate that she was so decent and level-headed in her response, which is why she is a great admin and hot-headed people like me would not be.

I'm sorry for bringing acrimony to MeCha on Friday. It's the first time I've done it here, and I'll make sure it's the last.

To brighten this post, I want to make its theme from here on "Happy Land Fun Time".

Apology accepted, it was no big deal really. A lot of people don't quite get how Wikipedia works, or why things happen there the way they do. After the whole q thing, someone from MetaFilter actually put the article about me up for an AfD debate perhaps making some sort of point [In good faith? Hard to tell. Coincidence? Unlikely.] This was the second time in six months that article has gone through the deletion/voting thing, so I know what it's like to see content that you care about go through that, it can be a nail-biter.

Hi, Jessamyn. Thank you for being so understanding. I probably didn't even deserve your reply (after flying off the handle, being such an ass*%le) so the fact that you've accepted my apology-- I sincerely appreciate it.

I'm glad to see that the votes are to keep your article. It looks like it will be retained. Sorry that somebody has tried to get it deleted. Please vote for keeping it, for those here who can do so/have a wiki account.

And I'm oblivious to how wiki works so I was just flying blind.
