Helmut Newton, if not pioneered the concept (Steven Klein was obviously paying homage to him in this shoot), certainly explored its limits. I think this campaign does take a fresh angle.
But it's nothing Andy Warhol hadn't already embraced circa 1968: "Then gradually I begin to grasp what Andy was trying to say with all his babble about machines and sex.
