So, not to take anything away from the awesome predictive powers of quizilla or anything, but I'd be more interested to know what rock star you think you are.
Wolfdog, mosch predicted I'd be Cristina Branco. I liked that idea, love the fado and all. But, on reflection and in my musical dreams of grandeur, I'd like to think I'd be closer to Cesaria Evora. She's warm and sunny but salty and weathered with an evocative voice, a wonderful smile and a laugh that can't be resisted. That would be awesome. It's a tall order, but if you're going to dream, dream big, no?
If she is, pup, she seems to be still performing. Not that this is unheard of or anything. I think I remember missing her concert here in June or July before she headed off for Europe, but I'll light a candle just in case; it's too early in the day for whiskey. [Heresy, I know.]
