Every time I see one of these, I want to concoct a Professor Moriarty–level concealed self-link, to see if the MeFi Street Irregulars can figure it out. But (1) I don't want to get banned, and (2) I'm really entirely too lazy to do it.

I just thought of a good way to cut down on these self-links. Make the site so fantastically unreliable that no one can post anything ever again. Although I guess I can't call Mefi unreliable, since it does reliably go down every single morning.

Sorry, I have been complaining about Mefi downtime a lot lately. I need to try not being so grumpy. It's just...GAH!!!
